Clean eating is not a diet, dogma or carved-in-stone commandment, but instead is the belief in the benefits of eating healthily and naturally. The aim is to ensure that no empty calories from white flour, refined sugar or additives such as flavouring and colourants are used when cooking. In addition to a balanced ratio of protein and carbohydrates, the main focus is on the use of healthy fats, natural fruits and regional vegetables.
