Holiday for the whole family - Tschuggen Grand Hotel Arosa
The Tschuggen Grand Hotel is keen to satisfy the needs of its youngest guests. The Arosa mountain world invites you to enjoy adventures and a wide range of journeys of discovery in Alpine nature in both summer and winter.
The hotel’s own mountain railway, the Tschuggen Express, will quickly take the whole family right to the middle of the mountainous fun.
Tschuggen Kids Club
Children can look forward to a varied children’s programme in both summer and winter.
Under professional supervision, children can enjoy plenty of action both indoors and outdoors. The concierge would be happy to organise a babysitter for you. Our trained professionals would be happy to take care of all the little guests over the age of 3
Tschuggen – all around carefree
At the Tschuggen Grand Hotel, it is always our aim to give time back its value. Small globetrotters up to the age of three stay in their parents’ room free of charge. Tasty and healthy children’s meals are on offer in all the restaurants. Every day between 4 and 5 o’clock, children can take advantage of the “Splash Hour” in the 5000 m2 Tschuggen Bergoase where they don’t have to worry about being loud or splashing around and can simply enjoy being a child. Mum and Dad don’t have to bring changing tables or nappy buckets with them: these can be loaned from the hotel free of charge. We even have car seats available for a spontaneous trip out.
Around Tschuggen Grand Hotel
There are new things to discover close by every day, and the focus is on having fun in nature. Which just goes to prove: “We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.”
Children's ski school
Whether it's your first time on skis, jumping over kickers in the snowpark or winning a medal at a ski race - the best place to do it is in the Arosa ski and snowboard school.
With the production of "Honigland" in Prätschli, a public and free beginner's/children's land has been created, which is also intended to appeal to beginners. With a 45-meter-long conveyor belt next to the Prätschli ski lift, the ski lift itself and various staging elements, a new world of experience was created.
Sit down on a classic wooden sled or a sporty bobsled and off you go on one of the many toboggan runs. Whether by train or on foot to the top, fun is guaranteed on a rushing ride into the valley. Our insider tip: night sledging every Thursday evening at Tschuggen or daily from Prätschli.
This child-friendly hike offers a world of extremely cute animals. The perfect spot for a leisurely day out for the whole family. Squirrel trail tip: Just contact the concierge for some free food for these cute furry animals.
