Holiday for the whole family - Tschuggen Grand Hotel Arosa
The Tschuggen Grand Hotel is keen to satisfy the needs of its youngest guests. The Arosa mountain world invites you to enjoy adventures and a wide range of journeys of discovery in Alpine nature in both summer and winter.
The hotel’s own mountain railway, the Tschuggen Express, will quickly take the whole family right to the middle of the mountainous fun.
Tschuggen Kids Club
Children can look forward to a varied children’s programme in both summer and winter.
Under professional supervision, children can enjoy plenty of action both indoors and outdoors. The concierge would be happy to organise a babysitter for you. Our trained professionals would be happy to take care of all the little guests over the age of 3
Tschuggen – all around carefree
At the Tschuggen Grand Hotel, it is always our aim to give time back its value. Small globetrotters up to the age of three stay in their parents’ room free of charge. Tasty and healthy children’s meals are on offer in all the restaurants. Every day between 4 and 5 o’clock, children can take advantage of the “Splash Hour” in the 5000 m2 Tschuggen Bergoase where they don’t have to worry about being loud or splashing around and can simply enjoy being a child. Mum and Dad don’t have to bring changing tables or nappy buckets with them: these can be loaned from the hotel free of charge. We even have car seats available for a spontaneous trip out.
Around Tschuggen Grand Hotel
There are new things to discover close by every day, and the focus is on having fun in nature. Which just goes to prove: “We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.”
Arosa Bear Sanctuary
The Arosa Bear Sanctuary is a genuine world of adventure: informative and entertaining at the same time. The main attraction of course are the three bears Meimo, Amelia and Jambolina. You can spend the whole day here: bear crazy golf, adventure trail, playground. The nearby restaurants serve up delicious fare for all ages.
Playgrounds in Arosa
There are plenty of playgrounds to be discovered in Arosa. Fun and games are guaranteed on climbing towers and slides or, indoors, on bouncy castles and in ball pools.
This child-friendly hike not only offers a world of extremely cute animals but also a playground with a water wheel and a barbecue area, the perfect spot for a leisurely day out for the whole family. Squirrel trail tip: Just contact the concierge for some free food for these cute furry animals.
A trip on a pedalo is never out of fashion. Parents sit back and reminisce about their own childhood while the little captains explore the Obersee lake. Take a look here for more information on boat rental on the Obersee lake.
Arosa Rope Park
Eight different courses, suitable for different ages, are just waiting to provide a whole range of adventures in the middle of a natural wooded area on the “Waldfestwiesa”. The Arosa rope park is part of the Arosa all-inclusive offer – something unique in Switzerland. You might need to pluck up courage at the beginning, but once you’ve got the hang of it you are bound to become a climbing enthusiast.
In and around Arosa, there are plenty of natural water sources just waiting to cool you down in the summer. For families, we would recommend the Badi Untersee with its sandy beach, heated paddling pool and much more. You will find all the latest information and opening times here.
