Good to Know

Spa Etiquette

We aim to make your stay with us a thoroughly enjoyable experience and trust you will find the following information useful.

  • Please arrive ten minutes before your set appointment so you can begin to relax even before the treatment begins. You can also use the time to inform us of any particular health issues or medical conditions we should know about.
  • If for personal reasons you are unable to attend an appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours prior to the agreed treatment; otherwise 50% of the price will be charged. The full amount will be charged if you miss your appointment.
  • Please note that smoking is not allowed anywhere in the Tschuggen Bergoase. As a courtesy to other guests please make sure your mobile phones are switched off.
  • Please note that for our young guests we offer a seperate kids pool and therefore ask for your kind understanding that children below the age of 4 may not use the main swimming pools.
  • For our younger guests, there is splash hour, which takes place every day from 16:30-17:30. The rest of the time we ask all guests to keep quiet in the mountain oasis.

Our aim is to make your dreams come true. If the treatment you are looking for is not listed on our spa menu, please contact the spa reception desk. We will be happy to offer you the individual treatment of your choice.

Sauna rules

  • Sauna is relaxation – please therefore respect the quiet atmosphere
  • Sauna can only be used by guests above the age of 16 years.
  • Think of your health! Leave the sauna immediately if you do not feel well.
  • You should drink a lot before every sauna & steam session as the sweat stimulates renal activity.
  • Do not visit the sauna or steam room with an empty stomach or right after eating.
  • The use of sauna and steam is due to hygienic reasons recommended without bath suits – we provide large towels to respect your privacy.
  • Please take a shower before starting your sauna session. Since dry skin sweats more, you should dry then well. A warm footbath before the sauna also increases sweating.
  • Please always place a large towel (sauna) or a special white pad (steam) on the bench.
  • We do recommend 2 to 3 sessions which should not take longer than 15 minutes.
  • A perfect health effect can be obtained with a strong cooling after sauna or steam.
  • Please have a soothing break in our relaxation area between every sauna or steam session.
