La Brezza Arosa
From 18 December 2020, the restaurant La Brezza (ital. The Breeze) will open in the Tschuggen Grand Hotel. Head chef will be Marco Campanella, who has already earned a Michelin star and 17 GaultMillau points in the equally named restaurant in our sister property Hotel Eden Roc in Ascona. The young and ambitious chef grew up on the German side of Lake Constance, where he already helped out as a schoolboy in the kitchen of the family restaurant.
Today, as a chef, he not only leads his kitchen team, but pays attention to even the tiniest details: "I wouldn't want a flower hanging upside down on my plate". In our hotel, he is keen to respond to the changing wishes of our guests, which is why he is placing an increased focus on light, vegetarian and even vegan cuisine to complete the wellness experience of the Tschuggen Grand Hotel.
Vegetarian and vegan cuisine in Switzerland is not only enjoying a surge in popularity, but is also beginning to establish itself firmly among young consumers, making it a kitchen of the future. The number of vegetarians and vegans worldwide is estimated at over 1 billion.
We are delighted to have the young chef, who has been a member of the Tschuggen Hotelgroup family for many years, in Arosa during the winter season and are looking forward to new and unforgettable creations.
